We will require a new loan before the end of March next. BONUS TO RAILWAY SERVANTS. The Minister of Railways made it clear in the House this afternoon that an additional war bonus is going to be-' granted to the railway servants. He said lie realised that the railway workers were feeling the increase in the cost of living. The Government had granted a bonus of la a day two years ago, and an additional bonus of Is a day to married men of the Second Division last year. These bonuses cost the Department over £300,000, probably £350,000. The question of a further bonus was now under 'consideration by Cabinet, and lie hoped to be able to announce the amount and the conditions in a few days.
