PURSUIT OF TURKS. DRIVEN OVER TIGRIS. A FOUR MILES RETREAT. Received Oct. 28. 2.35 p.m. London, Oct. 27. Mesopotamia -official: We continue to pursue the Turks on both banks of the Tijrrls, »nd have forced a passage of the letter' Zab near the mouth, in conjunction with,the cavalry, which, after crossing further up stream, turned the left flank of the Turkish force holding the angle between the two rivers, and assisted the infantry to drive the enemy across the Tigris to the west bank. The enemy retreated four miles. Further np the river our patrols have entered the outskirts of Kirtuck. The Turk* are strongly holding the higlh ••round northwards of the town.— Ap»- . £.2.
