CENTRAL DISTRICT SCHOOL COMMITTEE. 'J'HE Central District Scliool Committee are urgently in need of Funds for the purpose of improving the school grounds both at the Central and Courtenay Street Schools, and in view of the many functions now being arranged for patriotic and other purposes it has been decided not to organise any form of entertainment to raise funds, but to make an appeal to all parents and friends of the school for a straight-out donation towards the funds for beautifying the school grounds.
