CRITICAL SITUATION" JN WELLINGTON.

The question of eool storage of cheese for the ensuing season at Wellington has reached a, critical stage aa'cording to statements made at the Harhor Board meeting on Wednesday evening.' The chairman, Mr. Daniell, reported that Messrs Harkness,.. representing the Dairy Association, and Mr. Cuddy, from the Department ~of Agriculture, had made representations ; to him that,, additional provisions were..urgently' needed at once_ for the, eool storage of some £O,OOO crates of cheese. The urgency of the position was only too obvious. The cheese, also, would become the property of the Imperial Government shortly.
