ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE EMPIRE. JUNE CAPRICE IN "EVERY ((IRE'S DREAM." MATINEE AND NIGHT. There is no need to say much about the delightful six reel Fox feature, "Every Girl's Dream," in which June Caprice stars at both, matinee and night sessions it the Empire to-day. It is a romance of old Holland and just as picturesque as thistledown, yet touches some dramatic moments. For the children it will be a novel and enjoyable treat, and the adults will like June Caprice better iu this interesting story than ever before. This afternoon and to-night will be the last screenings. EVERYBODY'S. 'THE TENTH CASE.* A STRIKING WORLD FEATURE STARRING JUNE ELVIDGE. June Eividge has the plaee of honor in the World feature "The Tenth Case," which shows at Everybody's this afternoon and to-night, and as Claudia, she does undoubtedly the best work of her career. The play is distinctly above the average, and grips from first to last by reason of the artistic development of the plot and the dramatic situations which arise. Claudia is a beautiful young: wife of a wealthy man whose nep'l.ew, in revenge for having had his allowance discontinued, contrives to compromise Claudia iu her husband's eyes. The circumstancial evidence is certainly strong against her and when the husband sues for a divorce the judge declares that in nine cases out of ten circumstancial evidence in such matters is correct. Claudia, iu desperation at the thought of losing not only, her husband but her child also, arranges a similar set of circumstances which in an equally convincing manner compromise the judge's own wife. This causes him to modify his views, and Claudia is given partial custody of her baby. But the story moves through still further exciting incidents before a happy reconciliation takes plaee between the separated couples. The acting throughout is excellent, and the attractive womanliness of Claudia is a convincing feature. Incidentally there are some very fine dresses, and the mounting of the story is distinctive.
