BURNED TO DEATH.
■MAOKI MOTHER AND THREE CHILDREN. . By Telegraph.—Press Association. Whakatane, Oct. 24. Three Maori children were burnt to t death and the mother critically burnt - and the only surviving child badly burnt u at George J. Murray's farm, near Teko, yesterday evening. It appears the e mother, father, and four children lived e in a substantially-built raupo whare on 1 the farm. This caught fire about nine i o'clock last night and was burnt to the ground. The father was only slightly B burnt. The name of the father is Paid s Ratima.
