WELCOME HOME.
RETURN OE TARANAICI MEN. A number o* returned Taranaki soldiers reached their destinations by last night's mail train. The men arriving at New Plymouth were given a cordial reception. The Mayor and several members of the Patriotic Committee were present to receive the men, and the Citizens' Band met and after playing several selections, greeted the men as the train came in with the strains of "Home, ,Sweet Home." A big "Welcome Home" sign was hung up across the station plaf orm. There was also a good gathering of citizens to welcome the men. (Following are the names of the men who arrived at the various stations by last night's train:— New Plymouth—Lieutenants G. J. Hawkins, K. S. Evving, and E. G. Harding, Riflemen A. Gray, R S.
