STRATFORD SHOW

The Stratford A. and P Show will be the only spring show in Taranaki this spring. This association has been noted for the care bestowed by its stewards on all stock forwarded for competition. This year will prove no exception to the rule. Arrangements have been made for Stewards to met all stock at the station and have it carefully driven to suitable paddocks. Prospective exhibitors may therefore have every confidence in making entries and forwarding stock by rail. Schedules are now available on application to the secretary. Great care has been exercised in compiling these and liberal prizes have boon offered m .the different classes.

The champion butter-fat competition, initiated by the Stratford A. and P. Association under new conditions last year was a great success, and entries are now freely coining forward. Entries in this class close on the 4th November All other entries close on the 19th November. Adhesion to fciic spring show by the Stratford A. and P. Executive was no doubt largely the result of dairy, ing interests. There can be no doubt that spring time is the best season to show milch cows, and in view of this being a dairying district the wisest course is undoubtedly to give precedence to those interests. Exhibitors of first »rade stock almost invariably prefer to show in the spring. Schedules are being enquired for and the only spring show in Taranaki promises to be a huge success.
