Magpie did nine furlongs in 2min. 5y 2 sec.; Prince Veridis nine furlongs in 2min. 12sec.; Outlook a mile on the sand in lmin. 49 sec.; Prince Bardolph a mile in lmin. 47sec.; Escomb nine furlongs on the tan in 2min. Ssec.; Tragic Star six furlongs in lmin. lflsec.; King Offa trotted and showed an improvement; Lingle and Kennaquhair did useful work. At Caulfield, Court Jester did eleven furlongs on the grass in 2min. 27sec.; Colbert ten furlongs in 2min. flsec.; Kilflinn nine furlongs iu 2min.; New Zealand beat Wayland Smith over ten furlongs on the grass in 2min. 20sec.; Cetigne and Arch Marella rarv four furlongs in sCsec., and Seigneur did ten furlongs in 2min. 14eec.—Aus.
