*k GUN DISASTER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Pahiatna Oct. 21 A returned aoldier, Percy Mcßeth Anderson. was injured in a shooting accident yesterday. A gun was leaning against the seat in a mot/r-car, when if was discharged and hlevr sway part of Anrlerson's left- forearm and breast and lodged in liis left shoulder. Anderson was recently discharged from the Auc> land hospital, where he was treated for shrapnel wounds in the right arm, DE ATH FROM BURN'S. • Auckland, Oct. 21 Mrs. Agnes Ingram, -wife of Christopher Ingram, died from injuries sustain ed in the fin; which destroyed her resi; dcnee at Avoadale on Saturday night. WAGGON-DRIVER KILLED. Duncdiu, Last Njght. Samuel Lett, aged 51 years; was killed at Alexandra to-day while driving a coal waggon. He had an epileptic fit, and fell in front of the waggon, the wheels passing over him. Death occurred in a few minutes.
