Wellington, Last Night. Present indications are for westerly winds, strong to gale, banking to aouthcrlles shortly southward of New Plymouth and Castlepoint. Expect cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain generally and heavy rain and Hooded rivers in the west coast, and southernmost districts of the South Island. The barometer will fall, but will he rising in the south alter from li> to HO hours.
