A CRUMBLING ALLIANCE, AUSTRIA AND TURKEY MUST BREAK FROM OIKKMANY, i New York, Oct. 18. The Washington corespondent of the New York Times says that the authoritative opinion is that conditions in Turkey and Austria-Hungary will force them to break with Cermany. Dispatches received indicate that the ceaseless eli'orts to hold in check the situation ivill probably prove unavailing. Hatred of German domination is growing. Press dispatches from Basic saying that Count Burian has made an optimistic speech regarding the approaching peace aroused greatest interest in official and diplomatic, circles, though it was pointed out that Count Burian's utterances must now be listened to with reserve, as his aim w&s primarily to quiet the unrest at home. Some quarters believe that Germany will soon declare her acceptance of President Wilson's terms.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. New York, Oct. 18. The United Press correspondent -learns that Austria has agreed to the evacuation of the occupied territories in compliance with President Wilson's Note. It is stated that the Central Powers are completely evacuating Serbia and Montenegro.
