Jt was common rumor in Dunedin the other day t'liat Turkey, following. Bulgaria, had pulled out of the war. Tn some of the Dunedin city schools the announcement was made by the headmaster, the school flag was hoisted, the National Anthem being sung and, the children were given a Mf-holiday. The report was traced to a bookseller, who had stuck up on his window a large placard stating that "Turkey had surrendered unconditionally."
