PIERROTS' FANCY DRESS BALL
Patrons cam now-'loolc forward to the above grand bail as ircrng something that they will long remember, for every'member of the ball committee is sparing no effort to carry out his duties in a thorough manner. The supper arrangements, which are in the very capable ■hands of Mrs. Burgess and her patriotic ladies' committee, will be a-11 that can be desired. The Grand March, which will be under the direction of Mr. J. Hoskm, promises to he one of the finest sights seen in New Plymouth. As special arrangements are being made for lighting the large hall, the effect will be most spectacular. Judging from the number of iadies who are going to appear in Naj tional or Allied dresses, the judges will have a very difficult task in selecting the winners of the various competitions. Tickets are now on sale from any of the Pierrots, and as the prices have been kept within reach of all, it is anticipated that there will he an exceedingly large attendance of the public.
