PRICES FOR AUSTRALIAN PUTTER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Cct. ]o. Pahiatua, Oct. 15. Mr. J. G. Brechin, member of the Dominion Butter and Cheese Committee, last night received a cable from London stating that the Australian butter output had been purchased by the Imperial Government at 17<5s per cwt, with an option *it same price foi the duration of the war. This price equals Is CJd per pound, and Mr. Erecbin is of opinion that the pr:'.;e offered for the Dominion output will -oe slightly better. The committee will meet Mr Massey shortly. wheit final arrangements will be concluded.
