THE KAISER'S ABDICATION. DECLARED TO BE IMMINENT. London, Oct. 14. The Rotterdam correspondent of the Daily Telegraph learns from a wellinformed source that Prince Maximilian's resignation is probable. Dr. Solf or Herr Seheidemann will succeed him. This sensational development is due to Uie imminent abdication of the Kaiser in favor of his grandson. The Kaiser was anxious to do this two montlis ago, but the Empress dissuaded him. The Kaiser is subject to long fits of mental depression broken by such outbursts as the Essen speech. His abdication is publicly discussed in Germany, where many believe the Entente Governments will refuse to make peace while Wilhelm is on the throne.— Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
