At Hawera yards on Friday wo held a special bull fair. The advertised numbers did not come forward, Oily 70 bulls being yarded. Competition was good, and wo report a successful sale. Two-year Shorthorn bulls sold at from 15gns to 25gns; yearling bulls, 8 gus, Jersey bulls, 12 gns, Holstein bulls 10% gus to 17gns, Ayrshire bulls 17gns, Hereford bulls 20gns to 37%gns. CO.'S REPORT. Dalgety and Co. report; We held our fortnightly sale of hides, tallow and oddments on the 11th instant. Prices for hides, as compared with last sale, were about tho same rate, while super calfskins showed a slight increase. Tallow values were a shade better. Range of prices:
