INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC ABATING. 9 Capetown, Oct. 13. The situation, as far as deaths are concerned, has decidedly improved, and it is hoped the back of the epidemic is broken locally. The burials yesterday numbered 400. The bodies of colored people were removed in wagon loads. Orp hundred and fifty deaths are reported. to-day. In Kimberley the total deaths are now •20p0. (Bloemfontein reports over 2000 cases, [but the results are not yet serious.
