The totalisator handled £10,414 10s, as against £10,776 last year. Result*: HURDLES.—I Nocturnal 1, 4 Glenthorpe 2, 3 Good Hope 3. Also started: 2 Silver Shield, 5 Graftenella. Graftenella won by a neck, but the question of the horse's eligibility was raised, and as Pankliurst (a licensed trainer) admitted that the horse belonged to his wife, Graftenella wa» disqualified, and Nocturnal placed first.
