CHARGE OF SEDITION. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Wairoa, Oct. 10. In the S.M. Court T. Romley, station manager, was charged with having uttered a seditious statement in the private bar of the Wairoa Hotel: "I toope the Huns will come here and beat you and the Massey crowd. The Huna would make as good bosses as (naming a local farmer)." Accused pleaded guilty, and was fined £SO and costs : £i Bs.
