'., ~ !—• C2 MEN LIABLE FOR TERRITORIAL SERVICE. , Wellington, Oct. 8. In the Supreme Court to-day Mr. Justice Chapman allowed an appeal in a ease brought against a reservist 'for not attending a Territorial parade. The reservist had been called up in the ballot and classed C2. He contended that he was exempt from liability to attend drill. His Honor decided that exemption was obtained only In reference to the Expeditionary Force. The appeal was allowed, and the case remitted to the lower court to convict. THE GOLDSBURY CASE. Christehui'ch, Oct. S. The case of Noel Gohislbury, formerly on the staff of the Technical College, and now serving a terra of imprisonment for failing to submit to examination by a military medical board, was discussed ' by tlie Christchurch City Council.
