ON THE SEA.
BRITISH SHIPBUILDING. London, Oct. 2. The Admiralty announces that the mercantile tonnage completed in the United Kingdom, during September was 144,772 tons, compared with 124,075 tons in August, and 63,150 tons in the previous September. The total for the twelve months to September 30 was 1,594,202 tons.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc, and Reuter.
