The recent allegations of laxity in morals among children were reflected in a motion passed by the local branch of the Educational Institute. The motion viewed with regret the attempts being made to establish denominational primary schools throughout the Dominion, on the ground thatr public primary school work was secular, and, behind that, on the ground that the attitude of teachers was un-Christian.
