HIDE AND TALLOW DEPORT. Dalgety s.nd Co., Ltd,, report:— We held" our usual fortnightly sale of hides, tallow and oddments last week. Prices for hides as compared with last sale, were about the same rate, while super calfskins showed an increase of 3d per lb. Tallow values a shade easier, following is ih? range of prices:— Hide3.—Ox, heavy, lid to 121 d; ox, medium, lid to ll»/,d; ox, light, 9d to lid; cow, heavy, B%d to 10% d; cow, medium, BJd to lOstl; cow, light, 9d to 10% d; cut, slippy and inferior, 7d to lid; bull, stag, 6M to S'{,d; yearlings, B : }d to ll%d; calf, superior, Hijd to 21% d; calf, medium-good, il%d. to 201 d; calf, damaged, .id \o IT'/i'i. ■.
Tallow—ln casks, 33s "o Sos; in tins,' etc., 31s Cd to 32s 6d. Sundries.—Rabbit-skins 18'/ s d to 19d; horse hair, B%ds. tails, fid.
