'London, Sept,. 29. It is estimated that Germany's available merchant tonnage, inclusive of new construction, is little more than 21 millions, compared with 5-J before the war. The Clyde strikers' ballot resulted against the resumption of work by 1025 to 1014, but the executive ordered an immediate resumption.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assoc. SUMMARY OF ERITISH CAPTURES. London, Sept. 30. Mr. Bonar Law announced that since July I'2 the British have captured 1000 square miles of territory, 250 villages, and 120,000 prisoners.
