PALESTINE.

BRITISH PROGRESS CONTINUED, Received Oct. 2, 1.15 am. London, Sept. 30. Palestine official: During September 20 the northward movement of our cavalry and armored tars from the Tiberias— Deraa area was continued. Large Turkish forces, includipg the garrisons on the Hedjaz railway between' Amman and Amaan, surrendered at Ziza station. The enemy commander states that this force of 10,000 is part of the Second Army Corps of the Turkish Fourth Army. —Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc, and Reuter.
