A French Eastern communique states: The Allies, unremittingly advancing' northwards, completely cleared the Vardar Tailway, and the Monastir-<Prilep* Gradsko Road. The British captured the town of Strumnitza. The Serbian cavalry, by a bold push eastwards from Ishtip, captured the town of Kochana. The Serbian armies have reached Earbinski, north of Ishtip, and are now attacking the town of Veles, which is defended by p. German Jaeger battalion with disorganised Bulgarian elements. The Allies, advancing from Prilep, flung back the left wing of the Eleventh Germano-Bulgarian army on the mountain region west of Krushevo. The Italians have already reached the neighborhood of Krushevo.
