AN ADVANCE OF FIFTY MILES. BOLSHEVIKS FLEEING. Received Sept. 30, 1,40 a.m. New York, Sept. 20. Delayed press dispatches from Archangel say that the American troops are fighting virtually on all sectors. In northern Russia the Americans, co-oper-ating with the Russians and British, captured a number of villages during the last few tLys, in more than a fifty miles advance along the Duvla. The Bolsheviks are fleeing to Kotlas, 235 miles from Archangel. British and Russian aeroplanes are bombing the enemy continually. MARTIAL LAW AT VLADIVOSTOK. Received Sept 29, 11 p.m. Washington, Sept. 28. New York press despatches Irom Vladivostock say that martial law has been proclaimed in the Vladivostock district. The decree was authorisad by the Allied commanders. The measure is directed against enemy agents and Bolshevik agitators.—Alls. N.Z. Cable Association. SERBIANS ON MURMAN COAST.
