The' Wellington Rugby Union last ni»ht considered a letter from the New Zealand Union, which expressed tho opinion that 'the Wellington Union had i.iiled to make a proper inquiry regarding the playing of the Auckland-Wel-lington match "on September 7. lit was finally decided that the coach, and all players of the Wellington representative team he examined next Tuesday evening. An amendment that no further action be taken until it was proved that the match had been played under the amended rules found no seconderSEVEN- A-SIDE TOURNA.MEXT.
