A HAPPY SUGGESTION

During the past year our sub-centre has had valuable help in this way by various societies, parishes, districts, and professions, for which our grateful thanks are' due,'and. I feel sure all our members' woiildubeonly too pleased to set apart a day for the retired farmers and do everything possible to help make their effort a success. Trusting that the idea may' be found practicable,-—I am, etc,, / I. D. CROOKT2, Vice-President of the British Red Cross Society, New Plymouth.
