The following axe the results of Saturday's racing:— EOSEHILL HANDICAP, one mile and a quarter—Kilmoon 1, Tliana 2, Kandos 3. There were twenty-one starters, including Arcli Marella. Tliana led into the straight, and had an exciting finish with Kilmoon, who won by a long head. Time, 2min B>4sec. ROSEHILL GUINEAS, one mile and one furlong—Woorawa I, Finmark 2, Princess Clara 2.. Finmark was prominent to the distance, where Woorawa put in a brilliant run and passed Finmark a few strides from home. Almoner finished sixth.. Red Fox fell, and was destroyed. There were eleven starters. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 54secSPRING STAKES, one mile.—Panacre 1, Outlook 2, Dame Acre 3. K. Bracken rode Biplane, who was never among the leading division. Panacre. by a brilliant run in the straight, won easily by one length and a-half. Estland was fifth. Biplane was in the rear division, with Killhope last. There were sixteen ■starters, including New Zealand. Tim#, lmin 40sec. 'Hesitation was unplaced in the Highweight IJgndlcap. A Sydney cable states that Mr Greenwood has decided to donate the stake to patriotic purposes if Biplane wins the Spring Stakes. ASHBURTON MEETING. SECOND DAY'S RESULTS. Ashburton, Sept. 20. There, was fine weather for the second day of" the Ashburton Club's Spring i Meeting and there was a good attendance. The totalisator investments amounted to £10,358, against £11,06)1 last year.
