j ANOTHER GERMAN CONSPIRACY. FURTHER LOAN TO ITALY. Received Sept. 21, 5.5 p.m. New York, Sept. 20. The New York Times' Washington correspondent reports that Mitchell Palmer, the custodian of alien property, has exposed an alleged conspiracy between the Kaiser's agents and GermanAmerican brokers for the purpose of spreading pro-German and anti-prohibi-tion propaganda in the United States. The Senate Judiciary Committee is now investigating the matter. It is officially announced that an additional credit of 100,000,000 dollars has been extended to Italy by the United States Government.—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc. BEHIND THE 'PRESIDENT. New York, Sept. 20. ' The Convention of Mothers of American Soldiers at Evansville, Indiana, telegraphed to the President that it would stand loyally behind him until Germany surrenders unconditionally. President Wilson sent a message of homage to soldiers' mothers, saying their sons were making America lovea wherever man loved freedom and re. tpected justice.
