WEATHER FORECAST.
Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Fair weather lias prevailed generally, but scattered showers liavo been reported in Ot.igo and Westland. The atmospheric pressure has decreased in the south, and northerlics and westerly breezes have predominated. Present indications aro for increasing westerly winds, strong to gale, and southwards of Cook Strait the weather is likely to become cloudy and unsettled, with rain following generally, the barometer falling everywhere.
