The Minister for Defence has received a, further advice concerning the epidemic which caused the death of many men i< t the 40th Heinforcements on the voyage to England- » Sir James Allen stated this evening that he had received a cable from (Jen. eral Richardson, commanding the New Zealand Expeditionary Force in tie United Kingdom, in -which General Richnrdson reported that a Court of Inquiry was being held into the matter, lint ' aa investigation was not yet complete the findings of the Court were not ava&» nble. '; The infection arose subsequently to that, and not on account of the men having landed there.
