WEATHER FORECAST.
Per Press Association. Wellington, j<ast Night. The barometer has risen fast, and now stands above normal everywhere, and southerly winds have decreased. An improvement has taken place in the weather conditions to-day. Present indications are for decreasing southerly winds, veering shortly to freshening westerlies, especially south of Cook Strait; the weather fair to cloudy generally, but unsettled at times in Southland. The barometer, sliows little movement, but expect'falling .tendency soon In the south.
