On her arrival itwas discovered the boy had broken Ma thigh, and, after rendering all possible aid, tl:c boy was sent to New Plymouth Hospital to have X-rays on the injury.

I-ast Saturday my usual weekly sale ivas held, when only a fair entry of poultry, etc., came to band. There is a very good demand for good lines of poultry and cauliflowers and cabbages I quote as follows:—Hens, 2s 6d to 4s 0d: ducks, 3s to 4s 6d; cockerels. *2s to ss; cauliflowers and cabbage, 3s to 4s; potatoes, las to 255; bran, las; pollard, 225; apples, 2s"fid to 10« case.
