WEDDING.
KING—SAXTON. A wedding which created a good deal of local interest took place at St- Mary's Ohurch, New Plymouth, yesterday, the contracting parties being Miss Dorothy Saxton, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs 11. W. Saxton. of Now Plymouth, and Captain Eliot M, King, D.F.C., Croix de Guerro, of tho Royal Air Force, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Newton King, of New Plymouth. In addition to the guests, there were many interested spectators at the church. The Ven. Archdeacon Evans officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a cream crepe de chine and ninoT': Cfown, beautifully embroidered veil fastened with orange blossom, and carried a beautiful bouquet. The bridesmaids were Miss Zaida Saxton and Miss Betty King, who wore druses of wedgevwod blue voile trimmed with pink, and blue hats to match. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr.'Waldegrave King, and the groomsman was Norman Kyngdon, ofT Nelson. A re-' ception was held at the residence of tha bride's parents, where ftm happy couple wero the recipients of the heartv congratulations and good, wishes of their immediate friends. *fhev left later by motor for a short honeymoon tour.
