The following are the results of the principal events in the Tattcrsall Club faces: CHELS/SFORD STAKES; 1 mile 1 furlong.—Gloaming 1, Rebus 2, Kennaquhair 3. There were twenty-one starters, including Estland. Gloaming went to the front three furlongs from home, and came away at the distance, winning by eight lengths. Time, lmin 52sec. SPRING HANDICAP; one mile and a quarter.—Prince Viridis 1, Arch Marella 2, Thana 3. There were twenty-one starters. Won by a length. Time, 2min 6Jsec Bimeter finished in the ruck of the Tramway Handicap (seven furlongs). A GREAT PERFORMANCE. Received Sept, 15, 55 pja. Sydney, Sept. 15. The Sunday Times describes Gloaming's win as a great performance. It established an Australasian record for nine furlongs.
