In the Magistrate's Court, Arthur Stanley Palmer, on two charges of presenting valueless cheques, was convicted and ordered to come up. for sentence when called on. Percy Newman, a youth of 19$, was similarly dealt with on charges of failing to account for moneys amounting to £l4 collected for ibis employer. In each, case a refund of the money was condition^
