Th< 1 question as to *he' apportionment o( I costs was deferred. CANCELLATION OF BAIL. Auckland, Last Right. 'An unusual application came before Mr. Hunt. S M-, this morning, when Mr. ; "- I Selwyn Mays, for the Justice Depart-/ mpnt, moved to have the bail bonds of 1 J. C. Harrison, charged with false pretences in connection with Anconia sheep-; | dip, should be cancelled. , The bail granted was £IOOO, for -,wh.ic3i> accused i had found surety, and Mr. Mays mad« the application ground that then I was reason to believe Accused was about to abscond. His Worship stated thaj he must have evideneo on the point. Th( evidence was taken privately, and hij Worship made the order cancelling th! bail bonds, Harrison being taken int» custody.
