AN UNSEEMLY WRANGLE. Per Press Association. Wellington, Sept. 10. The Xew Zealand Union is still dissatisfied with the' conditions under which Saturday's match was played. Speakers at the meeting i claimed that the captain had no right to make , any arrangements, such, for instance, as not ! charging free kicks, though others pointed out that this was optional, as the rule said "may charge," not "must charge." , Eventually a resolution was passed requesting the local uniun to make inquiry, and report whether there was any agreement or arrangement to vary the rules or whether the captain received instructions to do so, also whether the referee was notified. The chairman stated that tho referee had said he had no Knowledge of any agreemnt.
