Shy—.lt- is interesting to read a letter in this morning's paper on the stil> : joet of ;tlie :«Qgjnaiis at Large," and one that; -should -lie continually before the public, as the danger is unlimited; as our Home friends Are finding. Knowing all tbivive ban 'German goods; in fact, <by now no shopkeeper should be holding sny stock of our unnatural enemies, But, 'Sir, I am-grieved to say that l a shopkeeper in this town, tlirougli some reason, has a stock of lead pencils for sale. Eo not only lias th«m for sale, hut tiiey hold-a prominent part in the window, and proudly he has put a ticket on them with the following words:— "Genuine Bavarian pencils.' l Sly comment is, it is "red hot," in these times—(l anv, etc-, 'NOTHING GERMAN.
