WOMAN SHOOTS HER HUSBAND, By Telegraph.—Press Association, Dunedin, Sept. 9 A shooting sensation occurred in Mareland Street this afternoon, when iTeorge Moody, tobacconist, was shot in the shoulder, necessitating his removal to a private hospital. It is alleged the shooting was done by his wife, from whom he has been living apart for ?ome time. The bullet has been extracted. No serious results are expected. Mrs- Moody was arrested on ac harge of attempted murder. It appears that Mrs. Moody attempted to gain admission to the house, but was refused, whereupon she drew a revolver and fired at her husband.
