Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Present indications are for easterly winds, strong to gale, northward of ICawhia and East Cape, and moderate to strong south-easterlies, changing to northcrlies Bhortly elsewhere. The weather will bo cool and changeable generally, with scattered showers along tho east coast, and heavy showers in tho northernmost districts. The barometer will rise in the north, but little movement at present in tho south.
