WANGANUI TOURNAMENT. At the Wnnganui tournament on Thursday W. O'Callaghan got into 13th place in the qualifying round, and F. O. Kewcnham 15th. The first medal match resulted in a tie between R. Dalglelsh, 85-9-70, and D. Neagle, 92-16-S6. The second medal match ended in a tie between H. W. Kelly, 85-8-77, F. S. Purkes 83-6-77, and S. Powell The putting match was won by W. J. Muir, with a score of 17. LADIES' ALL-DAY RED CROSS TOURNAMENT. The following programme has been arranged for the ladles' all-day Rod Cross tournament to be held on Thursday, September 19, 1918, at 10.30 a.m. Combined Rag and bogey mulch, 18 nolca, entrauce 2s. Putting at 3d per card. Approaching, entrance 3d. Driving, two drives lor 3d. Putting for non-golfers, 3d per ca.vl. Prizes will be presented for both seniors a.id juniors. In the afternoon a nien'3 bogey match, 18 holes, entrance ia, will be played, luncheon can be obtained at the pavilion. Entrlas, accompanied by club handicaps, close on Monday, September 10, with Mrs. P. S. Johns (lady captain). To-day the New Plymouth Club veil ploy a Red Cross medal match. Entry Is.
