PARK TENNIS CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Park Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club was held on Monday night, Mr. H. .1. M. Wells presiding over an attendance of 14 members. The balance-sheet, which showed a satisfactory state of affairs, was read. Mr. F. W. Sandford, on behalf of the guarantors, complimented [ the club on the substantial reductions that had been made in the overdraft. The following officers were elected: President; Mr. A. Ambury; vice-presidents, Messrs. F. W. Sandford, W. A. Collis, W. Ambury, J. Scanlon, Mrs. C. M. Hill; honorary secretary, Mr. H. C. Rowlands; honorary treasurer, Mr. H. J. M. Wells; committee, Messrs. Perry, H. W. Broadmore, B. Gadd; ladles, Mesdames Fielder, M'Gahey, Scanlon, Fulton, Diprose, Misses Hodder and Collis; afternoon tea committee, Mrs. Fulton and Miss Hodder. Subscriptions were fixed at the same as last year. Several new members were elected. The chairman referred to the approaching departure for camp of the secretary, Mr. F, C. Tribe, and on behalf of the club, heartily thanked him for his invaluable services during the post several sears.
