A WOMAN'S SUICIDE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Sept. 4. The woman's body found on Sumner biach yesterday morning has been identified as that of Mrs. Ellen HarrietWilson, a widow with five children. She had been in a despondent mood lately and had been missing from home since Monday morning. KILLED BY A TRAMCAR. Christchurch, Sept. 4. A man named Frederick William Faulkner was knocked down by a tramcar last night and sustained, serious injuries to' his head, and died in hospital early this morning. KILLED BY l-'ALLING TREE. Christchurch, 'Sept. 4. George MoClure, aged (ill, a well-known farmer at Killiiiehy, was killed to-day while motoring at Irwell. A tree w'as being felled at'the side of the road, and fell on the motor car, killing him instantly. His son, who was driving, was rendered unconscious. A daughter and grand-daughter at the back of the cav were uninjured.
