CONDITION OF THE JEWS. TURKEY SHOWING A BELATED INTEREST. Received September 3, 8 p.tnNew York, September j. The New York World's Washington torrespondent states that advices from tha most reliable source in Europe say that the Turkish Government is in negotiation with the Jewish leaders of Germany and Austria-Hungary regarding the alleviation of the condition of Jews in Palestine. A proposal is made to abolish the Jewish immigration restriction, land purchasing, and other reforms. The proposals amount to autonomous government.—Aus.-N.Z Cable Assoc.
