A MONSTER PETITION. London, August 25. Several thousands attended a Hyde Park demonstration for the internment of all enemy aliens. Speeches were delivered from five platforms, and the de-1 monstrators proceeded in procession to j No. 10 Downing Street. On a lorry was a petition two and one-third miles in length, containing 1,250,000 signatures. It headed the procession, and four men carried tlio petition into the Prime Minister's residence.
