LAST WEEK'S RETURNS. The returns from the New Plymouth tramways for last week show a decided improvement on the figures for the corresponding week of last year. In 1917 the revenue for tile week was £144 18s 9d, and the passengers carried numbered 21,208. Following are the details for last weelr: Passengers.
